Ronald Eugene Carey, 56, passed away Tuesday , May 28, 2013 in Houston Texas.

Ronny was born June 18, 1956 in Harlingen Texas.

He is survived by his wife Montie Carey and his son Aaron Carey of Katy Texas, his mother Elsa Carey of San Antonio, brother Reverand James Carey and wife Colleen of San
Antonio, sister Cay Cooke and husband David of Devine, Texas.

Also survived by Mother in law Joann Lunsford, sister and brother-in-laws Jimmy and Anita Dunkin and
Billy and Sami Lunsford.

He has many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and grand nephews that loved him dearly and a host of friends that considered him their brother.

He is preceded in death by his father James, his twin brother Donald Lee and father-in-law Bill Lunsford.

Ronny loved being outdoors especially in his garden. Ronny was in the nursery and landscape business for over 40 years. He was an avid Texas Longhorn fan. Ronny
never met a stranger and everyone who crossed his path fell in love with his kind and loving spirit. He was most proud of his son Aaron. They shared a love for music,
singing and playing instruments. He was a true patriot loving his country and always flying his flag proudly. Ronny loved his Lord and shared his faith when he could often through song. He has sang at many weddings, funerals and family gatherings. That was his gift. He shared it often and touched many lives.

A visitation will be held 12:00-1:30 PM Friday, May 31st, Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home followed by Graveside Services at 2:00 PM, Young's Prairie Cemetery.

Memorials can be made to the SPCA or Wounded Warriors foundation in Ronny's Memory.
