Lois Denmon

Lois Denmon age 81 of Elgin passed away Peacefully with her family by her side on Monday, March 11, 2013.

Lois was born October 12 1931 in Bastrop County to Henry Wellington Sr. and Elizita Wellington. She worked for the Travis State School for 17 years and liked to cook but her greatest love was her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 64 years, Deacon James Anderson Denmon.

She leaves to cherish her memory, children, Delores Denmon-Collins, Sheryl Y. Denmon and Ronnie Wilson. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family members and friends.

A Wake will be held 6:00-8:00 PM Friday, March 15, 2013, Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home. Celebration of Life Services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, March 16, 2013, Pleasant Bethany Baptist Church. Interment will follow at the Westbrook Cemetery.
