Lupe Montemayor Jr.

Lupe Montemayor Jr. age 75, of Elgin passed away Thursday, February 28, 2013 at his home. Lupe was born August 3, 1937 in Elgin to Lupe Montemayor Sr. and Juanita Pena Montemayor. He was a longtime employee of Home Depot. His parents preceded him in death. He is survived by his sons; Michael Montemayor and Rick Montemayor, daughters; Juanita New and Bridgette Ulman, brother; Hector Montemayor and sister; Carolina Flores, 12 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and a host of other family members and friends.

In Loving Memory of our Dad, Lupe Montemayor Jr. Dad lived a full life in Elgin. He enjoyed many things throughout his life, playing sports, teaching us how to play softball, baseball, football and his favorite Frisbee. Dad enjoyed time with his family and friends and was always willing to give fatherly advice. He will be truly missed.

A Visitation will be held 5:00 PM with a Prayer Service beginning at 5:30 PM, Friday, March 1, 2013, Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home. Graveside services will be 1:00 PM Saturday, March 2, 2013, Elgin Latin Cemetery.
