Ernest Haywood Stifflemire, age 72 of Lexington passed away Friday, February 22, 2013. Ernest was born May 5, 1940 in Lee County, Texas to Johnnie and Ernie Stifflemire. He was a Master Plumber and owned Certified Plumbing Company, Inc. located in Austin. He loved the country, cows, and farming. Ernest was a great husband and father and loved spending time with his family. He will be deeply missed. Ernest was preceded in death by his parents; son Donnie Stifflemire; brothers Johnny Stifflemire, and Bobby Dean Stifflemire; and sister Lorraine (Lindy) Stifflemire. He is survived by his wife of 56 years Edna Juanice Stifflemire; sons Wayne Stifflemire and wife Pam of Taylor, Joe Stifflemire and wife Debbie of Palascios, and Randy Stifflemire and wife Hope of Blue; daughter Diane Dill and husband Lonnie of Thrall; brothers Fred Stifflemire, James Stifflemire, Marshall Stifflemire, and Steve Stifflemire; sister Sharon Shannon; sister-in-laws Ora Stifflemire, and Dorothy Stifflemire; grandchildren Ashley Stifflemire, Matt Stifflemire, Jared Holman, Adam Janak, Lance Janak, Courtney Stifflemire, Max Stifflemire, Josh Nelson, Ryan Nelson, Hunter Dill, and Lauren Hattemer; and 2 Great-Grandchildren. Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00pm Sunday, February 24, 2013, Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be 2:00pm Monday, February 25, 2013, Adina Christian Church with Interment following at Adina Cemetery.
