Alvin "A.D." Duane Sweatt

Alvin “AD” Duane Sweatt, age 80 of McDade passed away, Tuesday, January 29, 2013.Mr. Sweatt was born August 25, 1932 to Vodie Sweatt and Nona Miles in Easterly, Texas. He served in the Army during the Korean War and was a General contractor for many years. He was a talker and liked telling stories, most of all he loved his Family. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Esther Sweatt and grandchild Casie Sweatt. He is survived by a son, Larry Smith and wife Gay, daughter, Lisa Solis and husband Chavel, sisters, Inez Ainsworth and Vera Menn, three grand children and 4 great grand children. He is also survived by a lifelong friend, Moses Dominguez and family, special nephew, Ronnie Johnson and a host of nieces and nephews.A visitation will be held 6:00 PM-8:00 Thursday, January 31st, Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home. Celebration of Life Services will be held 10:00 Friday, February 1st, Providence-Jones Family Chapel. Interment with military honors will follow at McDade Cemetery.
