Michael Adolph Wilson Jr.

Michael Adolph Wilson Jr. was freed from his earthly body and welcomed thru the gates of Heaven on January 16, 2013. Michael was born on July 20, 1940 to Frances Inez Wilson and Michael Adolph Wilson, Sr. in Houston, Texas. He attended schools in the Houston Independent School District and graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelors degree in Music. On July 1, 1962 Michael married the love of this life, Frances Margaret Baulch in Houston, Texas. To this union, 3 beautiful daughters were created; Melanie Ann, Michelle Rene, and Molly Gayle. Dad proudly served his country in the United States Coast Guard where he received an Honorable Discharge. He was an avid lover of music and participated in the marching band all through high school, college, and during his time in the Coast Guard. Dad worked for the National Linen Service for many years and retired from the State of Texas in 1991. Michael was preceeded in death by his parents, his wife Fran, and his daughter Michelle. Michael is survived by his daughters Molly Haffelder of Elgin, Texas, and Melanie Flores of Austin, Texas, brother Paul L. Wilson and wife Charlene of Pinehurst, Texas, and sister-in-law Melanie Landeche of Houston, Texas. Dad was also blessed with six grandchildren Jeff Wilson, Tyler Haffelder, Kyle Haffelder, Megan Haffelder, Christina Flores, Marcus Flores, one great grandson Matthew Ryan Wilson, and a great-granddaughter due in May. Visitation will be 11:00am Monday, January 21, 2013. Funeral Services will be held 1:00pm Monday, January 21, 2013, Providence-Jones Family Chapel with Interment following at Assumption Cemetery, Austin, Texas.
