Jaime Vega

Jaime Vega of Elgin, Texas passed away Wednesday, January 2, 2013. He was born April 27, 1994 in Austin, Texas to Sotero and Esmeralda Vega. He was the oldest of three children. He is survived by his parents, his sister Rocio and brother Ruben. Jaime was a caring, respectful, and friendly young man. He graduated from Elgin High School in 2012. He played on the school Varsity football and soccer team. He also lent a helping hand at his family’s restaurant. In his spare time he liked going to concerts with his friends, going to church, playing Xbox with his brother, sister, and close friends; and had a passion for art. He will be greatly missed by family and friends both here and in Mexico.

Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held 7:00 PM Sunday, January 6th, Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home. Celebration of Mass will be held 10:00 AM Monday, January 7th, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Elgin. Burial will follow at Elgin Latin Cemetery.
