Becky Lea (Baker) Bostic, 57, of McDade, Tx. passed away Tuesday, December 25, 2012 after a short illness. She was born June 30th, 1955 in Baytown, Texas to Earl and Dorothy Baker.
She was the youngest of the four Baker girls.
Becky loved Christmas time and held on long enough Christmas day to have her last Christmas with Russell, Bryan and her precious dog Sweetie by her side. Becky was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. She would always be the first to offer help to anyone in need. She loved to read, travel with her family, work with the church and have a “Girls Night Out” with her dear friends. Becky was a beautiful person and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents Earl and Dorothy Baker, her brother Earl Wade Baker Jr., and nephews Anthony and Bryan Koi.
She is survived by her husband, Russell Bostic, who took such loving care of Becky as her illness progressed, her son Bryan Bostic, daughter Tanya Bostic, grandchildren, Tristin Bostic and Arianna Bearden, sisters Cynthia and husband Joe Townsend, Denise Baker, Yvonne and husband Miki Koi. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
The family would like to thank the Odyssey Hospice Group of Austin for taking such incredible care of our beloved Becky.
There will be a service to “Say Goodbye to Becky”, 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 5, 2013 at the Knobbs Spring Baptist Church, 1662 County Road 305 in McDade, Tx.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Becky’s name to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Services are entrusted to Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home.
