She fought the good fight; she finished the race. Well done good and faithful servant, Alice Elizabeth "Betty" Nave, who departed this life for her true home early on the morning of December 20, 2012... surrounded by her family. Born in Geneva, Kansas, and raised during the Great Depression, Mom learned how to make the most of what she had. Throughout her life she brought her creativity and energy to bear in decorating the homes in which the family lived and raising her children, Beth, Julie, Lissa, Eric, and Jennifer. Full of life, she had a deep and lasting love of God which she shared with many especially her grandchildren: Shemin, Craig, Dean, Jason, and Patti, and her great-grandchildren, Jenny, Michelle, Colton, Odessa, and Sabine, and her great-great grandchildren: Aidan, Joshua, and Hannah.
A Memorial Mass will be held 2:00 PM, Thursday, Dec. 27th, Sacred Heart Catholic Church Elgin, Texas in celebration of her earthly life and the hope of resurrection. All who knew and loved her are welcome.
