Jose Diaz Sr.

Joe Diaz Sr., 83 of Taylor passed away Friday, November 23, 2012 at home peacefully surrounded by his loving family. Joe was born on September 1, 1929.
He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Pauline Diaz; his children Joe Diaz Jr. and wife Sally, Angel Diaz and wife Melinda, Jesse Diaz and wife Sylvia, Rosemary Ramirez and husband John, Debbie Moya and husband Santiago, Hope Lopez and husband Joe, Arthur Martinez and wife Vera, Roger Martinez, Rudy Martinez and wife Emily, Ory Boney and husband Jeff, Rosie Martinez and husband Emilio, Sophie Hernandez and husband Henry, Marty Martinez and wife Marlena, numerous Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren, Great-Great-Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews, and extended family.
He is preceded in death by his parents Isidoro and Pauline Diaz, sons Danny Diaz and Bobby Martinez, and daughter Valany Martinez.
Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be 7:00 PM Monday, November 26, 2012, Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home, Elgin, Texas. Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, November 27, 2012, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Elgin, Texas. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Guadalupe Cemetery, Taylor, Texas.
