Larry David Evans

Larry David Evans, of Hubbard, Texas, formerly of Elgin, Texas, was born July 1, 1955, in Kilgore, Texas to Woodrow and Martha Evans. Larry ended his long battle with cancer on October 9, 2012. Larry loved life, his friends and family, and making people laugh. He made everyone he met feel special and like he had known them all his life. He taught those who knew him what it meant to never give up, to love whole heartedly, and to take joy in giving joy to others.
He is survived by his children Michael Evans, Andrea Bogorad (Josh), and Krystal Evans; grandchildren Zachary Evans, Skylar Evans, Corbin Evans, and Mason Bogorad; siblings Jimmy Evans (Duana), Don Evans (Alma), Gary Evans (Janet), and Susie Pederson; fiancé Shirley Marmarosa and “bonus” daughter, Morgan Marmarosa; nieces and nephews, Christy Joseph (Jamie), Erin Gaines (Chris), Misty Evans, Tiffany Fielding, Cory Laffoon, Lindsay Ensign (Wes), and Kaylee Pederson. He is preceded in death by his parents and infant brother, brother in law Danny Pederson, and “bonus” son, Max Marmarosa. Visitation will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home. Memorial Services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, October 16,2012, Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home.
