Dora Whitaker

Dora Cortez Lopez Whitaker, age 83, of Cedar Creek went home on September 21, 2012. She was born on April 23, 1929 to Joaquin and Carmen Lopez of Manor, Tx.

Dora is survived by her husband of 42 years, Clark M. Whitaker of Cedar Creek, Texas. Preceding her in death are all her siblings except one sister Beatrice Reyes of Manor, Tx. with numerous nieces and nephews.

Tia Dora was a very generous and loving person with beauty in her smile and kindness in her eyes.
We will miss you Tia and keep you in our hearts forever.

Rosary will be 7:00 pm on Sunday, September, 23 2012 at Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home. Mass will be 10:00 am Monday, September 24, 2012 Ascension Catholic Church in Bastrop, Tx. Interment will follow at Alta Vista Cemetery, Bastrop.
