Virginia Wynell Carter

Virginia Wynell Carter, born April 24, 1925 in Itasca, Texas, passed away in her sleep early on the morning of August 18, 2012. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, E.L. (Spike) Carter. She has called Elgin, Texas home since 1968 and is survived by son Mike Carter, daughter-in-law Angelia(Turner) Carter, grandchildren Kristopher Carter, Kaci and Matt Roberts, and Kathrin Carter, great-grandchildren Wesley, Miranda and Samantha Roberts and Lily Carter and many other dearly loved family and friends. Visitation will be held Monday, August 20, 2012 at Providence-JonesFamily Funeral Homein Elgin from 6-8 pm. The funeral will be held in the same location on Tuesday, August 21st at 9a.m, followed by a graveside service at Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
