Charles Gordon Parker

Charles Gordon Parker, 76, of Elgin, Tx. died Sunday, July 15, 2012 at the South Central Ks. Medical Center in Arkansas City, Ks.
Charles was born July 1, 1936 in Hutchinson, Kansas. He was reared and educated in Hutchinson, Ks. and graduated from Hanen High in Hanen, Ks. in 1954.
He was retired from MGM Hotel in Las Vegas, NV. as a convention supervisor.
Survivors include his wife; Peggy, of Elgin, Tx, children; Peggy Sue Carroll of Dallas, Tx., Perri Lee Johnson of Harrison City, Pa.; Charles Edwin Parker of Elgin, Tx.; Penny Glass of Round Rock, Tx.; sister, Margaret Sims of Arkansas City, Ks.; nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and his faithful dog, Trixie. Charles was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Laree and Daniel Parker.
