Henry Otto Koether

Henry Koether was born November 17, 1926. He died May 19, 2012 at the VA Hospital in Temple.

Henry graduated from Elgin High School in 1944. He served as an electrician in the U.S. Army from February 1945 to December 1946. He graduated from Texas State University in San Marcos.

Survivors include a sister, Welma Belle, her husband, Peter; a brother, Kenneth Koether, and wife, Delores; and several nieces and nephews.

A Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 23, 2012 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home, Elgin.
Graveside services with Military Honors will be held 10:00 AM Thursday, May 24, 2012 at Elgin Cemetery.
