Sammie Lee Barksdale

Sammie Lee Scott Barksdale went to be with the Lord after a long illness on Thursday May 3, 2012. She is survived by her sons James and Damon Barksdale, and grandson Casey. She will be greatly missed by all of her brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews. Sammie worked for many years at the Austin ISD as cafeteria manager.
Sammie will be remembered for her lovely smile and her kindness to everyone whoever had the privilege to be a part of her life. She taught us all that a hug, a kiss and a kind word could cure almost anything. A memorial Service will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, May 12, 2012 at 106 Forest Ridge Drive,Elgin Texas
