Our Sister, Aunt, Great-Aunt, and Great-grand Aunt, Elena Fuentez passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2012 surrounded by her family. She was a wonderful sister, aunt, and caregiver. Who touched the lives of others in her own special ways.
She is preceded in death by her mother Martha R. Fuentez, father Cresencio Fuentez and brother Jose Fuentez.
Survivors include her Sister Victoria and husband Antonio (Tony) Torres Jr. Austin, TX, sister-in-law Sofia R. Fuentez Elgin, TX, Brother Andrew Fuentez and wife Austin, TX, and a large extended family.
Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be 7:00 p.m. Friday at Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home, 604 Hwy. 95 North, Elgin, TX 78621. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Elgin, Texas with interment to follow at Elgin Latin Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Daniel J. Torres, David A. Torres, Matthew A. Torres, Joseph A. Morris, Ruben A. Villanueva, and Andrew J. Villanueva. Honorary Pallbearers are Antonio (Tony) Torres Jr., Robert S. Morris and Fernando Martinez III (Trey).
We would like to express special thanks to Stella and Jenna for everything they did for our Tia Lena. We would also like to the thank the Staff at Riverside Rehab and Health Care Center & New Century Hospice for making our aunt as comfortable as possible.
