Katherine B. Attaway

Katherine Billingsley Attaway passed away Sunday, January 15, 2012 in Bastrop, Texas at age 84. She was born on July 21, 1927 in Somerset, Texas, to J.D. and Hallie Scroggins Billingsley.

She is survived by her sister, Margaret Billingsley Tinsley, and four children Elaine Newman Cearley (and husband Alvin) of Smithville, Tx., James Robert (Bobby) Newman (and wife Cindy) of Conroe, Tx., Alice Attaway of Lake City, CO., Danny Attaway of Corpus Christi, Tx; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.

She was a resident of Kingsville for many years where she was a long time employee of K.A. Childs Motors and Eddie Yaklin Ford.

The Memorial service will be held at 1 PM, Friday, Feb. 3, 2012 at First Christian Church, 1900 S. Brahma Blvd., Kingsville, Tx., Pastor Terry Neel officiating.

She was a much loved Mother, Sister and beloved Friend.

Services were entrusted to Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home, Elgin, Tx.
