Pedro G. Moreno

Pedro G. Moreno, 73, of Elgin passed away Dec. 1, 2011.

He was born in Hebbronville, Texas, and later raised his family in Elgin, Tx.
He retired in 1996, after 35 years with ACME Brick as a truck driver and also enjoyed playing in a band and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Sylvia Moreno of Elgin; son and daughter-in-law, Pete and Mary Ann Moreno of Giddings; daughter and son-in-law, Pilar and Pedro Navejas of Elgin; Son Danny Moreno of Cedar Creek; daughter and son-in-law, Sylvia and James Stanesic of Elgin; daughter Rita Moreno of Elgin; 17 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a granddaughter.

Funeral services were held Monday, Dec. 5 at 11 AM at Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at the Elgin Latin Cemetery.

Services are entrusted to Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home, Elgin.
