Kenneth Lynn Helgren

Kenny was born on September 11, 1951 in Elgin, Texas, the first of two sons to Clarence and Wilma Helgren. Kenny was preceded in death by his son; Joshua. He is survived by his wife Sylvia; his parents Clarence and Wilma; his brother Rodney and wife Carol; his three children, daughter Leah Pace and husband Matt, his daughter, Sarah Timming and husband Justin, and his son Jake; his stepdaughter Megan Miller; his grandchildren Kevin Helgren and Levi Timming, and Victoria, Caitlyn, Conrad and Aiva Pace. Kenny was not only a beloved husband, son, father, brother and grandfather, but also a great wildlife artist as well as a respected elder and deacon at Adina Christian Church for many years. Kenny went to be with our Lord on October 13, 2011 at the age of 60. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the National Wildlife Federation or Texas Parks & Wildlife.

Visitation will be Sunday, Oct. 16 from 6-8 PM at Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home. Services will be Monday, Oct. 17 at 2PM at Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Elgin Cemetery.
