Phyllis Florence Roethel

Phyllis Florence Roethel, age 77 of Kerrville, passed away July 31, 2011 at her daughter's home in Elgin.

She was born June 22, 1934 in Brooklyn, New York to Joseph S. and Amalia Brandeburg.
Phyllis moved to Texas with her husband, Rudolph W. Roethel in 1978, formerly of Round Rock, Texas.

Phyllis and Rudy resided in Vicksburg Village in Kerrville for the last ten years.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Rudy, both parents, her brothers: George Brandeburg and Steven Brandeburg.

She is survived by her daughters: Kim Mason and husband Craig; Debbie Sweezey and husband Barry; Karen Roethel; son, Rudolph Roethel Jr., brother, Joseph Brandeburg, grandchildren: Samantha Mason, Lance Mason, Jordan Sweezey and Tanya Markoff.

A Funeral mass will be celebrated Thursday, August 11, 2011 at 1 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Elgin.
