Kathy Kay Parker

Kathy Kay (Kaase) Parker, 56, of Granger, Texas went to her heavenly home on Thursday, May 5, 2011. Kathy is survived by her husband, Wayne Parker, dying three days before their 35th wedding anniversary.

Also surviving are the couple's son, Shawn Parker; four grandchildren, Pamela, Briana, Logan and Dillon; and one great-grandchild. Kathy is survived by all her siblings: brothers, Edmond Kaase, Jr. and Harvey Kaase, and sisters, Barbara Polasek, Patsy David and Carolyn Perrin; along with their spouses and many nieces and nephews.

Kathy is preceded in death by her parents, Edmond Kaase, Sr. and Albina Volcik Kaase and by one niece.

Kathy was baptized and confirmed at the Taylor Brethren Church and graduated from Hutto High School. She was active and a faithful member of the Granger Brethren Church.

Visitation will be at the Granger Brethren Church on Sunday, May 8, 2011 from 6-8 PM. Services will be at the Granger Brethren Church on Monday, May 9, 2011 at 10 AM with interment at Young's Cemetery in Smithville. Kathy's nephews will serve as pallbearers.

Services are entrusted to Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home, Elgin.
