Winfred "W.C." Charles Stephens

Winfred “W.C.” Charles Stephens, 65, of McDade passed away May 11, 2011 in an Austin Hospital. W.C. was born May 30, 1945 in Bay City, Texas to Winfred Lee & Chalice (Bussell )Stephens.

He was a Midshipman in the Navy, he also worked as a lineman for Bluebonnett for many years, he loved cooking for people and also for Trail rides, he was a people person and loved being with his family.

He is preceded in death by his wife and brothers, Johnny,and Earl.
W.C. is survived by his sons; James Lee Stephens, Charles Alan Stephens and wife Witney; brothers, Jimmy and Claude Stephens;sister, Molly May; grandchildren, Clinton (C.J.), Courtney, Tommy, Dalton and one on the way.

Visitation will be Saturday, May 14 from 5-7 PM at Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home in Elgin. Funeral service will be Sunday, May 15, 2011 at 2 PM at Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home in Elgin. Burial will be private.

Services are entrusted to Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home of Elgin.
