Vlasta Michalek

Vlasta Johanna Michalek, 95, of Granger passed away May 9, 2011. She was born on April 24, 1916 to Frank and Rosie (Mazach)Havelka in Robstown, Texas.

She is survived by her husband Johnny Michalek of Granger; son Harvey Nemec and wife Donna; daughter, Amy Nemec, Jeanette Carfer and husband Bill; grandchildren, Christie Haub and husband Alann; Greg Childers and fiancé Sonya Schulte; Holly Nusbaum and husband Lee; Travis Carfer and wife Jill.

Rosary will be Wednesday, May 11, 2011 @ 7 PM at S.S. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church in Granger. Funeral service will be Thursday, May 12, 2011 at 2PM at S.S. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church in Granger. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery in Granger.
