Bobby Ruthven

Bobby Ruthven, of Blue, Texas, passed away Friday, April 22, 2011 in Austin, Texas.

Celeberation of Life services will be 10:00 AM Monday, April 25, 2011 at Adina Christian Church with burial to follow at Adina Cemetery. Brother Bill Ward will officiate and the pallbeares will be Clint Wilhite, Brent Wilhite, Casey Ruthven and Cody Ruthven.

Bobby was born in Taylor, Texas to Melvin and Maxine Ruthven on Feburary 12, 1943. He worked many years for Chicago Bridge & Iron (CBI) and his work took him many places while making friends wherever he went.

Bobby is preceded in death by his father, Melvin Ruthven, a daughter, Paula Kulow and one brother, Stanley Ruthven.

He is survived by his mother, Maxine of Blue, Texas, one daughter, Teresa Holmes of Magnolia, Texas, brothers; Jack Ruthven and wife Trink of Blue, Texas, Jerry Ruthven and wife Gini of Jacksonville, Florida and Lanny Ruthven and wife Linda of Blue, Texas, a sister, Connie Wilhite and husband Danny of Blue, Texas, 8 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
