Carol Ann Bayer, 65, of McDade Texas passed Friday April 1st, 2011 at Texas Neuro Rehab, Austin Texas.

Carol was born in Livingston, Texas on February 6th, 1946. Sherman Roy and Minnie Mae McNeill raised Carol in San Antonio Texas. Carol married Phillip Bayer October 30th, 1965 and was blessed with two children Paula and Ross.

Carol, a dedicated wife and loving mother, enjoyed gardening, sewing, exercising, cooking and being a motherly figure to many. She always lent an ear or cared for any who needed it. She was a strong woman who worked hard at her job and home. She was always busy being a great wife, raising her kids, and being a friend. She loved canning all she could from the gardens and working in the yard with her flowers and plants.

Carol Bayer is survived by her husband and two children, Phillip Bayer, Paula (Bayer) Hobbs, Ross Bayer and Sister Elaine Demunbren.
Graveside Service will be at 2:00pm Saturday April 9th, 2011 at the Siloah Cemetary (Marlin St. and Wolf Rd. ) in McDade Texas. Directions - In McDade take Marlin St. East for 2.6 miles to Wolf Rd. Take Wolf Rd to your left and the cemetery is immediately on your left.

Services are entrusted to Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home of Elgin.

In lieu of the thoughtful gifts that so many graciously contribute such as flowers and plants, we ask that a substitute of monetary support be given to our local community cemetery where Carol will lay at rest.

Donations to future maintenance and support of the cemetery can be made to the Siloah Cemetary Association, c/o Betty Pohler, 384 Wolf Road, McDade TX 78650.
